CIM Shipyard is located close to the « Charente » river (which leads to the sea) on a parcel of 12000 m2. The economic area of La Rochelle – Rochefort is very well represented by all sorts of companies from the boat industry (manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors).

The assembly hall of over 6000 m²

The assembly hall of over 6000 m2 ground surface is perfectly designed for industrial production that needs high quality equipment.

In 2001 a second aisle has been built of 120 m long and 24 m large. Both aisles are equipped with four moving bridges allowing a height up to 8,75 m under the hook.

Today, the industrial equipment is designed for a 100 people workforce with a yearly production capacity of one large yacht and 4 to 5 catamarans for professional use.

The assembly hall contains 4 work shops :
• Joiner’s work shop, composite materials, laminates
• Mechanics, hydraulics and refrigeration
• Electricity and electronics
• Painting work shop with cabin an drying hall

Thanks to these work shops and the reactivity of CIM Shipyard’s design and production teams, the necessary modifications during construction are easily made and avoid all loss of energy and time.
